Jeb Corliss has been seriously injured and airlifted from Table Mountain just outside of Cape Town, South Africa due to a BASE Jumping Accident. It’s unclear what exactly has happened at this stage.
It sounds like Jeb may have hit some turbulence which collapsed his canopy, or possibly a cliff strike because of an off heading opening.
Update. It’s been confirmed that Jeb has broken both legs due to a ledge strike in full flight.

Jeb is currently at Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. Jeb may also be facing fines and charges by Table Mountain National Park for jumping there without a permit.
